Itinerary

The trip offers six full days of fly fishing, with days typically beginning around 8:00 AM, though start times may vary based on tides and weather conditions. Each morning begins with a hearty breakfast before heading out on the water. Your captain and guide will discuss target species with you over dinner the evening before, allowing them to tailor the following day’s fishing to your goals and the prevailing conditions.

Located near Ningaloo Reef, one of the world’s largest and most pristine coral reef systems, the area offers a diverse and vibrant ecosystem that attracts a wide range of species ideal for fly fishing. Anglers can target permit, queenfish, trevally, giant trevally, and bonefish, all thriving in this exceptional fishery.

Day 0 (Arrival)

Arrive in Exmouth. (Qantas offer daily flights from Perth to Exmouth (Learmonth) airport)

Day 1-6

Breakfast is typically served from 6:30 am each day to depart for fishing at 8 AM. Packed lunch/snacks/beverages (non-alcoholic) are included and enjoyed on the water. Each fishing day runs to around 4:00 pm, depending on fishing. Return to the house each night for refreshments, shower, and relaxation. Dinner is served at 7 PM each evening.

Day 7 (Departure)

Shuttles to collect guests and take them to the airport.

Flights and travel

Getting to Exmouth / Flights are booked into Learmonth Airport, which is located approximately 30 minutes from Exmouth. Qantas offers daily flights from Perth to Exmouth (Learmonth Airport), and now operates a direct flight from Melbourne to Exmouth, making access easier than ever for travelers from Australia’s major cities.

Ground transportation from Learmonth Airport to Exmouth is straightforward, with Exmouth Bus Charters offering a convenient shuttle service. Hire cars are also available from several major rental companies including Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Europcar, providing flexibility for exploring the region during your stay.

Location / Exmouth is located approximately 1,200 km north of Perth in Western Australia. This small town is situated near the tip of North West Cape, offering remote and pristine access to some of Australia’s finest fly fishing waters.

Booking conditions

Payment and Cancellation Policy / A deposit of 50% is required to confirm your reservation. The final balance payment will be due approximately 60 days before the trip departure date.

Cancellations made within 60 days of the trip are non-refundable unless the guest finds a replacement. Once final payment has been made, it is non-refundable unless the guest secures a replacement to take their place.
