Adventurous fly anglers are starting to take serious note of the raw fly fishing opportunities here. Omani Permit have been making waves and you can score big numbers with both the Africanus & Blochii species frolicking rocks, beaches.
Then also some more backing dumpers with our unique Parrotfish, resident popper eating Bream, XL Queenfish and the most colourful fish on the planet – the Broomtail Wrasse
Apart from the fishing, Oman has been consistently voted in the top 20 safest countries in the World for a number of years and Omani hospitality is legendary. Widely regarded as the Switzerland of the Middle East the country provides a haven for many religions and cultures.
Oman’s coastline features expansive sandy beaches, hidden rocky coves, and steep cliffs that drop sharply into the sea. Bordered by the Gulf of Oman to the north and the Arabian Sea to the south—a part of the northern Indian Ocean— Oman’s landscape showcases remarkable diversity.
Following thorough exploration of this stunning coastline, No Boundaries was established to serve the international fishing community. We provide the opportunity to experience fishing in this breathtaking and secluded destination, all while enjoying first-class comfort with skilled fishing guides.
Unprecedented catch results and a meticulous attention to detail resulted in rapid growth and we have since gone on to establish ourselves as the regions premier & largest outfitter. In 2019 NB’s proudly launched our vision of ultimate coastline exploration, custom built liveaboard Notus Temptress, the only such vessel in the Region. The luxury 24m Arabian Dhow/Yacht hybrid caters for what we do best: hosting anglers on the trip of a lifetime! Our professional and fully accredited team of Captain, Guides, Chef, Mechanics and hosts provide the very best service and furthermore boast incredible experience in this fishery – most having enjoyed long successful careers on our team.
A typical day with us would consist of an early morning wake up call, hearty breakfast and on the water at first light. Having discussed your target species with your captain/guide over dinner the evening before they will tailor the days fishing ahead.
In the morning you can target large schools of tailing Africanus (the only place in the world to target them on fly), Milkfish, Queenfish, Bluefish, Pompano and multiple Trevally species whilst drifting along the vast cliff faces or exploring the shallow beaches and secluded bays
The plethora of species may be overwhelming, but a familiar fish in a wildly new landscape is a tremendous draw for anglers worldwide: the Africanus Permit as well as the Indo pacific Permit. With a staggering population of Africanus Permit averaging in size of 8-12 pounds and minimal fishing pressure, Oman is indisputably one of the most prolific Permit fisheries on the planet.
The Notus Temptress – Your Floating Base Camp / Arabian dhows are instantly recognizable for their distinct design and seafaring prowess. Our goal was to build a mothership following this great Omani tradition while providing a luxurious environment capable of hosting large groups of anglers for a full week offshore. The end result is our bespoke hybrid dhow/yacht, combining traditional aesthetics with modern comfort and functionality.
Total reliability was at the forefront of our ambitions as we fitted out Notus with the necessary mechanical systems to run an adventure charter. She is powered by twin Yanmar turbo diesel inboards along with double Kohler generators, ensuring dependable performance throughout your expedition.
An all-inclusive service is provided once you board. You will be hosted by our experienced team, including a certified Captain, Chef, Hosts, Mechanic, and Guide, ensuring every aspect of your week on the water is seamlessly managed.
Arrive in Oman a day before the Mothership sets sail. We do not run airport transfers but the hotels we reccomend have free shuttles & golf carts to bring them to the mothership morning of departure.
Breakfast is typically served from 5.00 am each day to depart for fishing at 8 AM. Packed beverages and snacks are included and enjoyed on the water. We will return to the mothership to enjoy lunch at 12-1pm. Each fishing day runs to around 6.00 pm, depending on fishing. Return to the mothership each night for refreshments, shower, and relaxation. Dinner is served at 7 PM each evening.
Guests will be back at the hotel once again where they can arrange their shuttles accordingly for their international flight back home.
